Thomas Agency is owned by Jeffrey and Nancy Peters.
Founded in 1867 by William Hoag, the business has seen
many owners and some name changes, but its dedication to
its clients has remained the same, insuring the
continuity of this community minded business. Mr. Peters
acquired the business in 1977 and through steady growth
and strong leadership, the agency has been recognized as
one of the leading agencies in the area.
Our outstanding

In addition to providing personal and commercial lines
of property and casualty insurance, group and individual
life insurance, Fred E. Thomas Agency goes to the extra

August 1984 the Agency purchased the Applied Systems
computer system to implement aggressive marketing
programs, as well as automated all accounting, word
processing and file maintenance functions. Their goal is
to process most transactions without using a paper file
and to involve all employees in sales-related
activities.
